Position Summary for Assistant Manager
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people.
The Assistant Manager supports daily operations, leads shifts, and ensures excellent service, food quality, and team performance.
Skills & Qualifications for Assistant Manager
(Part 1 of 2) -2+ years restaurant experience (supervisor or lead role preferred)
-Strong leadership and communication skills -Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability
Skills & Qualifications for Assistant Manager
(Part 2 of 2) -Basic understanding of labor, food cost, and operations
-Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented -Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays -Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred)
Key Responsibilities for Assistant Manager
(Part 1 of 2) -Lead and manage shifts (front & back of house)
-Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues quickly -Support scheduling, staffing, and labor control -Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and health/safety standards
Key Responsibilities for Assistant Manager
(Part 2 of 2) -Train, coach, and motivate team members
-Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control -Support bar and patio operations during peak hours -Open/close the restaurant and handle cash/POS reconciliation
